Continuing Medical Education - CME Accreditation
The ‘ESTI – European Society of Thoracic Imaging’ is expected to be
accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical
Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical
specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of
Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net. European Accreditation is
granted by the EACCME in order to allow participants to validate the
credits obtained at this activity in their home European Country.
The ‘ESTI 2010 – 18th Annual Meeting of the Society of Thoracic
Imaging’ is expected to be designated for a maximum of 15 hours of
European external CME credits. The final number of credits approved by
the EACCME and the SGR-SSR (Swiss Society of Radiology) which is the
National Accreditation Authority of Switzerland will be announced as
soon as the approval has been sent to the ESTI office. Each medical
specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually
spent in the educational activity.
