Welcome by the Congress President
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
In 2010, the European Society of Thoracic Imaging will hold its annual
Congress and Scientific Meeting from Friday, May 28, to Sunday, May 30,
in Bern, Switzerland.
Bern, the capital city, is famous for its location within a beautiful
landscape next to the Bernese Alps and to several idyllic lakes.
The ESTI Congress traditionally offers a combination of basic
systematic lectures on chest imaging and of current scientific
innovation. Interactive teaching courses of HRCT of the lung in small
groups represent an ideal learning platform for residents in radiology
and for pulmonary specialists.
Chest radiologists will discuss the latest advances in their subspecialty with their European top partners.
It is my pleasure to announce the meeting and to invite you to enjoy
both two and a half days of postgraduate teaching and the city of Bern
in spring.
